What are the benefits and rewards?
As soon as your friend or family creates an account, he or she becomes your recruit. You'll both receive an exclusive in-game action figure!
Add this rare action figure to complete your collection.
Both you and your recruit will receive this reward.
You and your recruit will be linked up automatically in the friends list, making it easy to find each other.
From the friends list, you and your recruit can teleport to each other from nearly anywhere in the world!
On top of that, team up with your recruit and both of you get:
- 5% bonus experience
- 5% bonus resources
- 5% bonus damage output
Remember, while the buddy teleport lasts forever, the team up bonuses only last for 15 days. So team up right away!
You get an extra costume slot for every recruit that purchases Champions Online. Bonus reward for your first convert:
Warp to the nearest Powerhouse.
For the second recruit that purchases, in addition to the costume slot, you get:
Warp to the nearest Transport location.
For every recruit that subscribes, you get 400 Cryptic Points. For every two recruits that subscribe, you get 30 days of game time in addition to the points.
Note: Some game play restrictions apply for recruits, see FAQ. While supplies last. Only active subscribers to Champions Online can send invitations. For the recruiter to qualify for the Champions Online purchase rewards, recruits must enter a valid Champions Online retail Product Registration Key. To qualify for the subscription rewards, recruits must be billed for at least a one month of subscription.
What do I get for recruiting, and when?
There are different tiers of rewards, depending on the status of your invitations.

Stage 1: Offered
We are waiting for your potential recruit to click the link in the email invitation to create his or her Champions Online account. No rewards, yet. -
Stage 2: Accepted
Your friend or family member has become a recruit of yours by creating a Champions Online account! You will both get:- Exclusive Sapphire Action Figure
- Ability to teleport to each other from nearly anywhere in the world every two hours
- Bonus game play benefits when you and your recruits team up (15 days only after guest pass activation):
- 5% bonus experience points
- 5% bonus resource gain
- 5% bonus damage output

Stage 3: Upgraded
Your recruit has purchased a copy of Champions Online and upgraded to the full version! For every recruit that upgrades, you get an extra costume slot. On top of that:- The first recruit that upgrades grant you the Spatial Manipulator, which allows you to warp to the nearest Powerhouse.
- The second recruit that upgrades grant you the Farlong Device, which allows you to warp to the nearest Transport location (e.g. the plane).

Stage 4: Billed
Your recruit has paid for at least a month of subscription to Champions Online!- For every recruit that gets billed, you get 400 Cryptic Points.
- For every two recruits that gets billed, you get a 30 days game card key distributed to your account (in addition to 400 Cryptic Points). You will find the game card key on your account dashboard. You can use it on your own account, or give it to someone else.

No, it does not cost anything to send an invitation.
Where can my recruits download the game?
The email invitation should have included a link to download. Players can also visit http://www.champions-online.com/download at any time to download the game client.
What restrictions apply to accounts using a guest pass?
The following restrictions are placed on all accounts using a guest pass:
- Cannot trade player-to-player, send items via mail or use the Market Place
- Cannot send in-game tells except those on the friends list (but can receive all tells)
- Cannot participate in zone chat
- Cannot send a friend request, or team/supergroup invites (but can receive and accept them)
How many people can I invite?
You can have up to five active invitations outstanding at any time. As soon as an invitation is accepted, you may send another one. If the invitation is still not accepted after 14 days, a slot will free up as well for you to send another invitation.
Do invitations expire?
Invitations do not expire. If the invitation is still not accepted after 14 days, a slot will free up for you to send another invitation. Remember, while the slot is freed up, the email invitation waiting in your friend or family member's mailbox is still valid.
